Wunsch der Bauherren war, dass durch ein multifunktionales Möbel der offene Wohnbereich in zwei Zonen aufgeteilt wurde. Der kleinere Teil dient als Leseraum mit Bibliothek, der größere dem Film- und Musikgenuss. So beinhaltet der Raumteiler neben Stauraum viel Platz für Medientechnik, Platten- und Videosammlung sowie für eine Hausbar. In der Oberseite installierte Deckenfluter lassen den gesamten Raum als ein Kontinuum erfahren. | The owner builders required a multi-purpose piece of furniture that divides an open living space. The smaller part is used as reading room with library, the larger part as lounge to enjoy cinema and music. Therefore the furniture contains a lot of space for books, entertainment electronics, an extensive collection of records and videos and finally a bartender equipment and beverages. On the top an uplight is integrated so the room is noticed as continuum.
